And many of those were when the game was either won or lost in the last quarter.

Currently, he offers nothing and most of his current output is below average and needs to be dropped together with Rowe.
Yeah can't argue with that last bit, just not doing enough.

I would play Tex, Himm and Murray forward with Murphy, newchurch and Jones. Gives us speed, lead up options and a decent contested grab in Murray. Then bring in a Warrell or fish to go back.

You try telling Dmac he wont be in the side in 5 years.

What's the chances he gets another year? I'd say he is likely to be going around again in 2022.

U do make a point I just wish other players would put in as much effort as he has. I just want to see what Chayce can do. We know Dmac is at the level no idea about Chayce

FFS he's been injured most of the season and had a managed pre-season.....that's not remotely like Thilthorpe.
We need to make sure his shoulder is right. It’s a worry he came back and is already off again. Get the shoulder right, I don’t care if he doesn’t play again this year.

Not me. I'm dreading it.
Port got spanked tonight and will take it out on the Crows; gonna be fugly.
🤣
I was being more sarcastic than anything

Since the showdown final I’m quite meh about minor round showdowns

We need 5 more wins this year to make it a pass mark to me and we never have wins against any of last years top 8 even pencilled in

That said
Port were monstered themselves last night

Ya never know 🤣

Rain predicted next week probably slippery wet conditions, small opportunist forward, I would give him another go.
He needs a break to freshen up. He will naturally take longer for his body to play regular solid afl football. A small will be replaced by Sloane.

Worrell in and Doedee into Centre. Macpherson dropped

If McAsey rips it up maybe he comes in for Berg

Rowe should go for Newchurch
McAdam should go for Fog

Hately...he is hoping that I'Connor doesn't have a ripper in the SANFL.

If Jones does well I'm not sure but you would consider
Agree, drop McPherson, and play Jones in the HB role .....adds a bit of dash to the half back line, that Hamill was providing, albeit pretty poorly the last few weeks

We currently have zero dash of HB ......

Look I guess if Chayce plays well tomorrow he might find himself selected against Port. Does anyone still hold out any hope that this guy might turn out to be an AFL standard player?

If he has a very good game at half back he should come in to replace Mackay. That's what a rebuilding club would do. But we wouldn't do that.

Maybe he's a victim of being played carrying a niggle, has looked way of it since the shoulder issue he had during a game?

He's shown in the past he's a manic chaser and tackler, not helpful in the tackling department if he hasn't got confidence in it.

You'd think that the easiest performance inhibitor to correct would be injury. Instead of clinging to the constantly failing cult of continuity, how about getting the injury right with rest or whatever else is required. Crazy idea, but I reckon it might have merit.

So many players looked like they should be dropped after today that it will be too difficult to choose, so we'll make the minimum possible

In: Sloane
Out: Rowe

Look, it's really easy to make lots of changes after a belting, what is the stronger move is making no unforced changes. Unless a tier 1 type is returning from injury. My money is on no unforced changes, be strong by backing in the group. Unless Sloane returns.

I think if you replace the word 'strong' (or stronger) with 'dumb' (or dumber) then you will have fixed your sentences.

1) We need 5 more wins this year to make it a pass mark to me and we never have wins against any of last years top 8 even pencilled in
2) Port were monstered themselves last night
3) Ya never know 🤣
1) I thought a pass mark would be 6-7 wins, around twice as many as last year. I believe that with a little more composure and basic skill execution, we could have beaten both Freo and the Hawks. In a way, though, 3-4 is a better indication of the Crows than 5-2 would have been
2) Yeah, away, by a good side starting to find their feet. Port will bounce back better from that than the Crows will.
3) :laughv1: ... but, we do know. Let's face it.

Port will win by 50+. But it doesn't matter, as long as our youngsters continue to take small, baby-steps forward. I think 6-7 wins is still achievable this year. I think we showed vs. the Cats that we are capable of causing the odd upset or two.

After watching our SANFL game.

Jones for MacPherson
Fog for Hberg
McAdam for O'Connor
Rowe for Worrel/McAsey

We have too many small forwards. Bring in a genuine mid and secondary KPD. Still allows Murphy, McHenry and Berry as mid/SF role.

Hberg's forward craft not good enough to carry him for second Ruck duties. Play Fog forward/mid and have Murray come forward at times.

Jones is having a quality game in defence. MacPherson needs a spell

The problem isn't too many small forwards, it's that the ones we have aren't working hard enough or playing well enough.

Swap Fog for Sloane (thus improving our midfield, while also getting rid of an excess tall forward), and you're getting closer to the money.

Sloane ready?

I dropped Hberg too

They keep saying they're expecting him back for the Showdown.

Yep, I'd go with just Tex & TT as the only tall forwards. Bring Sloane into the midfield, and give Berry more time in the forward line - where his defensive tackling is massively needed. Fog is not the answer, or even an answer, until he loses the weight (muscle bulk) which is holding him back.

I have no objections to moving Murray forward, and slotting Worrell into his position in defence, with McAdam dropping out as a result. Actually, I think it's a damn good idea.

Out: Rowe, McAdam, Himmelberg, McPherson, Mackay, Murray
In: Sloane, Fogarty, Newchurch, Jones, Worrell, Brown

Newchurch really isn't easy but we have to drop both Rowe and McAdam
Would have wanted a better SANFL game to go in on...
