What’s lost in all of this is that English misses a second week with concussion. Really hoping it’s not bad...
It may even be good news in a roundabout way.

I’m hoping we are just being extra cautious and putting his personal health above the club’s needs.

That would be a progressive step.

But I thought our medical staff were inept? You know, after sending Dunkley back on after doing his shoulder? Goes to show we don't know what conversations were had at the time and that our medical staff do have our players' best interests at heart.

It's quite amazing that Cordy has been able to stay in. Has offered absolutely nothing in the past two weeks.

Johannisen has also done nothing this season. I'm one of his bigger fans on this forum but no way should he still be in the team. Should've been made to find his form in the twos.

Oh well, I think we have enough to win anyway. But don't like some of the selections. Good opportunity for Sweet in the next few weeks. I think he can handle himself against Pittonet but hopefully English is back next week to give him some chop out. Think it's great that we're playing it safe with English, it was a massive hit and not worth rushing him back.

So why have West and Schache been omitted.

Schache seems pretty obvious. Zero impact when we expected Timmy's replacement to at least have some impact. That's papers stamped for me.

What about West? I believe it's for, in large part at least, a me first not team first attitude (if I was being generous I might proffer self-delusion...but generosity is not my strong suit) from a player on the periphery. The alternative is that better players became available and he'll come into consideration at the pointy end if we're decimated by injuries.

English would be failing the concussion protocols or he would be playing.

Not a case of us playing it safe he simply isn’t allowed to play

Great to see Khamis and Sweet in
Backline extremely short, left-saver shortist-tall Cordy on the pine might be needed
JJ starting in his old spot, good idea, hopefully we can do it for JJ
Any added Leg speed???

We need to bounce back, hard draw coming up
Go Dogs
