and of course 6. Bazlenka

but wondered if there were others

I think our youth/inexperience has been a bit overplayed.

Our team last week averaged 24.9 years, 85 games which is about average (Essendon was slightly older, but less experienced). By comparison, our 2016 premiership team was younger and less experienced.

Youth/inexperience really hurts you when you have high numbers of less than 20 gamers in the team.

One thing we have done (by astute management or by chance, I'm not sure) is limit the numbers of under 20 gamers to 3 or less players in each match.

With Porter in, that could well mean Vandermeer, Young or Weightman out

I said as much in the Covid thread on March 13th. I still think that it holds true.

I think given the AFL's rush to compress games and get through the season* they also believe that one case will knock the whole season* on its head.

I hope Porter and Weightman help with that. They're both big personalities and I feel like that energy brings something.

This really is a two point game when you look at ladder position and our percentage.

With Porter coming in as a definite I reckon it will be a straight swap for Libba. Porter can bash and crash rotating through the middle with Smith, Macrae, Hunter and Bont. Wouldn't be surprised if we see Wallis get a run in there two.

I'm happy to give La.Young another week. Libba back for the Tigers game.

People also calling for Dale's head, i get it but I think we underestimate his importance to the structure and currently he is the most accurate of the group. Can't see Lloyd coming in unless despite Weightman's spectacular efforts he missed a few team rules etc however I highly doubt it.
