Having Talia, Rutten, Reily and Otten in the same backline for next week worries me a little against the likes of Monfries, Wingard, Neade, Stewart who have all looked dangerous, albeit against weaker opponents. But still, its a bit too slow for my liking on our side to match up with those boys. Hopefully Smith is fit and ready to come in, a collarbone injury should still allow him to do almost all the running. Wouldnt mind seeing Tambling come in to help out also.

Think Callinan needs to go back also for a few weeks. If Jaensch isnt fit then he should not play, especially if one of Tambling or Smith are right to go. Bernie Vince was very average again, dont know whether to give him one more week or drop him and bring in of the youngsters in. Maybe even bring in a Tom Lynch/Johnston to stretch ports defence a bit. Johncock should come back in but as sub i reckon. Has influenced games on various occasions as sub before and i think its a good role for him.

If you're referring to the Hendo incident, they cut to the camera in our change rooms, and Hendo decided right in front of the camera was a good place to "check himself". Cameras just kept rolling, no cut away, nothing. Was about 16 seconds, possibly longer.

THEN, after the games on 7s post-game show, 7 showed the footage again, but pixelated, and Basil decided to make some poor taste (and really shit) jokes about it.

Good post...... Melb are WOEFUL at present so it's difficult to draw any conclusions and GWS was playing against a wave of emotion

This week will be the "New" port power first real acid test against a A-Grade midfield and a side with bigger / stronger bodies

Looks like Justine Westhoff is warming up for the Showdown

He is nowhere near as bad as people seem to think he is. Still relatively young, supreme endurance, can play all over the field, has decent skills, can kick bags of goals... so could definitely be a breakout season for him.

Tambling seems to be playing the drop off role at Sturt, drifting around half back, running and creating, third man up at times. Playing ok but not really much of a defensiveness to his game. No different to Jaensch and we've already got Mackay and Reilly down back as creative players too.

Cannot see Tambling coming in.

Paul Roos pointed out after the Essendon game how many of our players are 'see ball get ball' players. He highlighted some stupid errors by Reilly where he went for the ball, didn't impact the contest and his man ended up with the footy. He said we didn't have players like Nick Smith and Alex Johnson who have the defensive side to their game.

Of course Paul Roos would point out Sydney examples.

With these 3 you'd have to strongly think about tambling .......Wingard & Neade will be too slippery for Jaensch

I started off really liking Roos ......but i agree he has become increasingly annoying with his continual praise of all things Sydney
