The intent to slow things up with about 8 minutes left was really poor. Not sure if it was a bit of a tactic to practice heading into finals, but it was no good.
I don't think there was any intent to slow down. A couple of poor kicks resulted in turnovers and goals. We have an issue with clubs getting a run on and not being able to stop it.

You can't be serious. Go back and watch the last 10 minutes, we actively slammed the brakes on with about 7 or 8 minutes left and focused on just trying to possess the ball. Blokes running round giving the slow down signal, running to receive the ball in negative territory, handball receive game stopped dead.

The turnovers were a direct result of the intent to hold and chip the ball around.

Anyway, like I said, was highly likely an in-game trial of our ability to do what we did for later in the year but we executed it terribly.

Bianco was doing an Adams, stopped our momentum like we were shot with his turnover kick across half forward, then his smothered kick. We looked off from that moment

Two goals came directly from our players kicking into the man on the mark. A third came from a poor kickin to a contest.

None of those errors have anything to do with slowing the game down, which in itself is an entirely appropriate tactic.
