Fair credit to Saints, they looked cooked post bye - looked like they were going to fall away just like last year

But have pieced together a solid last month, albeit against some weaker sides, but still. I thought they were going down choke-alley again. But getting finals is a nice bright spot. Doubt they will go anywhere in finals, but still, held it together when it counted.

Geelong and the Saints have both sucked major a$$ at times tonight but at least the Cats have sucked that much more.
Pleasant days footy really to see both the Scott's sooking it up with their garbage teams another step closer to missing finals.🤞
Mission accomplished?

A few thoughts after today/tonight’s games:

Cats heading for a long stint in the wilderness. Their midfield will be putrid.
Atkins, Bruhn, Bowes and Parfitt aren’t worrying many teams. They are slow and now can’t even win the contested ball. They’ve had a great run but it’s their turn to be at the bottom for a while.

Sucked in Bombers. Again choking when it matters most.

If the Saints can play finals with the number of average players they have, we should be pushing hard for a top
8 spot.

We should (must) obliterate Geelong and Richmond next year.
