Some beautiful young lass would love to stand out with some salt n pepper, I'm sure!I haven't dyed my hair in years. And yeah, nah... not that curly. And there are a few gray hairs sneaking in there... it was bound to happen at 58 years old.
Thanks, matewe should be pretty proud of some of the quality clowns we have on this site - impressive work, matty............
I looked at Variety but settled on Wigs 4 Kids as the wigmaker (Ella's) is one of the few that guarantees it goes to Aussie kids. This one only needs 20cm minimum but mine would have to be 25-30cm by now. Wanted to be sure!Matty411 this is awesome. Glad to see you're getting so much support. I've been growing my hair since the start of the pandemic and was going to donate it to Hair with Heart (part of Variety, the children's charity); they have a length requirement of 14", and I'm so so close right now. Didn't think of trying to get some additional donations for the chop, so really appreciate the inspiration
Congratulations Matt on achieving more than you set out to do. Selfless act and you deserve much admiration for it.Thanks to all of you and my many awesome friends, family and colleagues, I've managed to raise $1,955 for Kids with Cancer and am sending locks away for a young person to get that new hair feeling after suffering unimaginable bad luck.
Grateful. Pics below.
Appreciate it, mate. Very little done from my end but that's why I love it. No brainer in my perspective and just so grateful so many legends have gotten behind it.Congratulations Matt on achieving more than you set out to do. Selfless act and you deserve much admiration for it.
Just on this, for anyone who wants to donate their hair but has dyed it, you can still donate via Sustainable Salons. They make wigs for the Australian Alopecia Areata Foundation. It just needs to be more than 20cm long. You're a legend, bud. Appreciate it so much
I have at times - especially after the shower. Tying up wet, long hair is a recipe for disaster. Stays wet for days. The old headband does wonders (though does pull an eyebrow raise from my wife).
Mate, as long as its healthy hair and over 20cm (without being dyed etc) then they're screaming out for it. I'm sure a young girl or guy would be blessed to have your curly locks.
Thanks, MEB - so true. Still so many uses for donated hair. George, my man! Lovely locks. What legend. I'll swing a donation your way by the weekendBump
Going to ride on Matty's coat tails here a bit here. For those that are keen on contributing to variety hair with heart who provide wigs for kids I'll be chopping off my hair next weekend. Have been growing it since the start of the pandemic, and thought I should do something good with it. Link below:

I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. Please help me and raise funds for Variety.hairwithheart.variety.org.au

So glad you asked - I was wondering same. If I had hair like that, the sick kiddies might have to do without!George, I have to ask. Which shampoo and conditioner do you use?
