Yep, picks 16 & 17 which I expect to blow out to, at least 20 & 21, or one of those picks and Brisbane's 2021 1st rounder. At least 3 Academy picks (JUH, Campbell & Jones) prior and a Band One FA compo (Zac Williams) to pick 16.

Only player Brisbane may let go, that Essendon may be interested in, would be Witherden. BL aren't trading one of their important young players.

Yeah um Adelaide would have matched if Geelong didn't trade for Dangerfield.
Adelaide will probably also match for Brouch if they don't believe compensation is appropriate.

What’s his “ilk”, though. His low salary (is 600k correct?) is a reflection of his significant injury history.

What does Dangerfield's choice to go to Geelong have to do with anything? It's literally a useless argument.

Point is, he was a free agent wanting to exercise his right to go to another club. Adelaide were going to match Geelong's bid to force a trade, so Geelong decided to trade instead. That's what happened.

Daniher is a free agent that wants to exercise his right to go to another club. Essendon are going to match it to force a trade if the compensation isn't enough.

There's nothing special about Dangerfield's situation.
