Massive credit to Connor for the work he’s put in to get to this level and to Cripps and the recruitment team for moving heaven and earth to get up the draft order to take him.

There was a lot of wheeling and dealing to make it happen, much of it questioned (criticised?) by this board…

I think it's a bit harsh to call his last fortnight disappointing before this game. He still polled coaches votes in both round 2 & 3. Now most likely with 2 10 vote performances to pair with it as well.

Even on his bad days he will still likely pull votes in most of his games this year.

Dissapointing that the 2 middle games weren’t perfect.

If your worst performances as a player are still worth about a 7/10 then you're collectively a pretty dam good player. He'll definitely still have some quiet games to come but i'm not expecting 10 votes from him every week especially with Butters, JHF & even Drew pinching them.

It was looking like an 11/10 game at half time like Butters vs Melbourne last year, but ended just cruising to a 10/10 as JHF stepped up.
