Pretty tough introduction to footy if you’re competing against Dustin Martin from the get go.

Maybe that's why he is a 5-15 possessions per game type player?

Absolute jet. There was a lot of discussion around him being a great kick but needing to find more football so he can use it - putting him on the wing seems like the solution to that issue! Fantastic game.

Break out game for Kane. 19 disposals means he can be more than a 5 to 10 only disposal game. Well done Kane.

When you have as good a kick as he has, you want him to have the ball as often as possible.

That’s the game we were all hoping to see from Farrell. He is such a talent. It was a good 4 quarter performance even before he kicked the match winner. Looked like he was running on a race track while 43 other guys were in mud for the second half.

Was played on the wing in the sanfl last year with the instructions to toughen up his game and stay more involved.

Really showed his development in both areas today, so pleased for him.

We know he is an elite kick and is building the framework to support that skill. Treading the Amon path, keep it going Kane.
