We look terrible at the moment. Dunno where we are heading, Eagles very smooth in their movement up forward. Francou gives away a free. Judd on 50.

One of the most dominant starts to a game youll see at the moment. We cant get the ball forward of centre at all, Eagles free midfielders all over the place.

Tredrea nearly marks, Kane passes to Ebert who shoots from 45...misses.

Great tackle from Burgoyne after a poor effort on Walsh, holding the ball...goes forward to Ebert who marks 55 out. Goes sideways to Lade. Looks to have a shot. LASER!!!!! Great goal from 58 out.

Seems to be kick it to Tredrea at all times again up forward and the defenders are eating it up.

Eckermann outcoaled....huge hip and shoulder off the ball by Stenglien. Would wanna fire us up. Looks like a stretcher job. Eckermann nealry took posession, Stenglien lined him up and elbowed him in the face. Reasonably fair but it was bloody high and the elbow was up at contact. Careys trying to say he got him with a shoulder but on a different view was clearly an elbow.

Poor Eckermann - that looked terrible. Stenglein's use of the shoulder/elbow was crude. Carey's trying to justify the hit as legit - nice try.

Yeah good work Carey..."hes a mate so ill say he didnt do a thing wrong". Crude hit, very high, used the elbow. Bet if Pickett did that Carey would be calling it stupid and unneccesarry.

Average first quarter. Started off terribly, Eagles players everywhere...by mid quarter we had shown up, bottled the game up and started winning our share of the footy. Good goal at the end there by Kane gives us some hope. Hopefully they fire up a bit after seeing Eckermann get knocked out.

Overwhile Eagles well on top in getting the ball effectively forward and winning the ball out of the middle.

I reckon it has fired Port up, glad White is on, he can take marks in the midfield and leave Tredders in the 50m ark, very unlucky not of have had a couple of frees, sheeesh what about those two holding the balls

Pickett should of started on the ground, not the two ruckmen, needed that added aggression.

Please no Primus in the forward line, when he is not in ruck he needs to be on the bench.
