Bit of thinking to do with our setup, injuries might force a few issues, but we’ve looked pretty cooked this quarter.

Too many mistakes - the skill errors, the silly free kicks, not reading the play properly. Indicative of a team absolutely out on our feet.

It's been a disappointing end but I don't think we could cope with those early injuries and our midfield being destroyed. The knock on effect is we've run out of legs for the last quarter.

Most concerning are how these injuries affect us going forward.

Smith has played between the forward line, midfield and now starting in defence

That demonstrates how our structures are out of whack as this match has continued

No run, too many injured blokes out there

And its gonna make 6 days time hard work too

Going into the game our forward line was the worry. After the first quarter today it was clearly the backline. Next few weeks shape to be tough with a patchwork of defenders.

Pies are much fitter aerobically.

I could sense them running over us.

I understand why it's happened though.

We needed to try and slow the game down and play tempo footy once we had the lead in the 3rd.

You play breakneck speed vs them you burn yourself out.

Commentators banging on about the Pies 'amazing' ability to come from behind.

They overtook a side hobbled by significant injuries tonight you morons.

Their ability to think is as deep as an ice-cream lid.
It would've been a horrific loss if they didn't eventually run this one out well on top. So they get a pass mark but nothing more.
