Embarrassing. McBride is not a footballer.
What is even more embarrassing is he has been better than at least 12 others out there today.

Disappointing performance from Cox. Can’t see a place for him at the moment or probably this season. Needs a big pre season and put on weight.

Former Bombers Tom Hird and Holmes have had 56 disposals between them. They’re not AFL players but surely better than a lot of these VFL players we’ve got?

I’m happy for young Hird he could have just thrown his footy career away being a late starter and all. He’s got a bit of character.
There was never really a lot wrong with his effort and attack on the footy. He is a really good VFL player now he has had a few years in the system again. He is better than pretty much all of our VFL players now.

He has a lot of tenacity. I thought he was unlucky not to get a senior game last year when he had a good patch of form. In saying that this is the best version I have seen of him.

Nick Hind has responded nicely to his axing from the senior side while Patrick Voss was dangerous as Essendon was well beaten by Port Melbourne by 53 points on Sunday.

Hind had 27 disposals and seven marks in the Bombers' heavy defeat at ETU Stadium, while Voss could've had an even bigger game, but kicked 2.4.

Voss, who has been nearing an AFL debut in 2023, also had 18 touches, eight marks and two clearances.

Massimo D'Ambrosio was busy with 25 disposals, while No.5 pick Elijah Tsatas (21, six tackles, three clearances) continues to grow after an injury-hit year.

Kaine Baldwin (21 disposals), Rhett Montgomerie (15) and Tex Wanganeen (14) were solid, while Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti had 10 touches.

Anthony Munkara kicked a major from his six disposals, Alwyn Davey jnr had 10 touches and Nik Cox had nine disposals.

VFL contingent gets worse with each passing week. Complete and utter rubbish and getting what they deserve.

Good to see Tom Hird destroy us too, was always a mistake to quit early on him

Hardly. He was a cat b and his 3 years were up, he wasn’t worthy of a senior list spot.
