Sheffield Shield Round 5: WA v QLD @ WACA

Quite a turnaround from WA in this game.

Wells compiling a nice score as well at the moment.

Wells has actually been pretty good this season. Bit of a rough start but last few matches he has been good. With a doubt his best season of Shield cricket.

Wells, signing of the off season

Two years ago...

Been a very frustrating start to the season and probably been so bad that we won't catch up, having said that to win after those first couple of days is very nice. Owe a hell of a lot to Turner for keeping us in it. Mackin has been good for us in the chances he's had so far, nice to see a breakthrough performance come just when we needed a leader.

Anyone know why Swepson was only bowled four overs in the final innings?

Mackin has always had this in him, great stuff.
At his height he's always going to be a handful for the batsmen. He's definitely one the national selectors will have a bit of an eye on.
