The roles and factions of characters in this game are somewhat related to their roles in the Show, as well as certain Game mechanics. Whilst not directly following the show there will be Spoilers.

Set an alternate timeline in which The Axis powers were victorious in World War II. Washington D.C was leveled by an A bomb and the continental United States were divided between The Nazi Reich and Japanese Empire. But tensions are rising between the two Allies, and they must also deal with the growing presence of resistance fighters, who wish to be free from Their Japanese and Nazi rulers.

Basic Rules:
At the beginning of the game each player is given a 'role' at random and in secret (via PM) by the moderator.


The aim of the Villagers is to identify and kill all of the Mafia and the Wereboncers before the evil factions can kill enough villagers so that (# of e.g. Werewolves = # of Villagers). Only one faction can win.

How are players killed?
Each 'turn' of the game will last approximately 24 hours and also represents one 'day' of game time,thus a game will go on for several days before it is concluded. There are two 'phases' to every turn of the game;

night Phase (8:00pm – 12:01am):When evil factions secretly decide among themselves, via PM communication, which Villager (one per night) that they shall kill and then inform the moderator via PM. Others with a Night action also enter their actions now via PM to the Mods. Decisions for the night phase are to be in no later than 10am.

Day Phase (12:01am – 8:00pm):After the results of Night actions have been announced, everybody, Villagers, Mafia, and Wereboncers discusses and ultimately votes publicly in the game-thread upon which player (one per day) that they shall lynch and kill. Votes for the day phase are to be in no later than 8pm.

Obviously during the day the Villagers will want the group to vote for and lynch an evil player, whilst the evil players themselves will want not to be lynched; herein lies the fundamental strategy of the game:
Can the villagers identify the evildoers whilst at the same time convincing the rest of the group that they're not evil? And can the evildoers convince the group that they're not evil at all and thus avoid being lynched?

Werewolf Etiquette:

There are two main rules which everyone must follow in order for the game to run successfully;

DEAD PLAYERS MUST LEAVE THE GAME
If you are killed at any point during the game then you are no longer allowed to participate although I will allow a farewell post, but that post cannot impact the remainder of the game.

THERE MUST BE NO PRIVATE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PLAYERS EXCEPT WITHIN THE GROUPS LISTED BELOW
Except for the above-mentioned groups sending PMs between themselves, other forms of private communication concerning the game are not allowed.



Anyone caught quoting PMs from the mods will be mod-killed without warning.

I will use my own discretion whether or not to grant modkills by request on a case by case basis. If you intentionally attempt to get modkilled i will ban you from any other games i run. You and your children, and your childrens children... For 3 months.

For this game we will not be using the Reason for Lynching rule.

Voting:
During the Day Phase players must vote for whom to lynch, your vote must be formatted in bold like this: Player Name.


Upon the voting deadline (end of day-phase) the votes will be tallied by the moderator and whoever has received the most will be lynched and be out of the game: remember, once killed you cannot take further part; do not reveal your roles to anyone until the game has been concluded.

Any ties in voting will result in both players being lynched.

Roles

Evil

The Reich

Obergruppenführer John Smith (Godfather)-Night immune. Can seer 1 player each night.
Oberstgruppenführer Heydrich (Deputy)- Will take over as godfather if John Smith Dies.
Sturmbannführer Raeder (Intimidator)- Can prevent one player from talking for an entire day. They cannot vote, and can only communicate using textless gifs.
Hauptsturmführer Connoly (Goon)- Assists with the nightly kill.
Win condition- eliminate all other evil factions and outnumber the village

The Pacific States
Inspector Kido (alpha werewolf)- Night immune. Can seer 1 player each night.
Seargent Yoshida (Roleblocker)- Each night can block 1 players night action.
General Onada (cub)- If he dies, the Wolves will get 2 kills the following night.
Kotochimi (Wolf)- Assists with the nightly kill
Win condition- eliminate all other evil factions and outnumber the village

Independant Evil
The Marshall (Serial Killer)- Night Immune. Can kill 1 player each night.
Win condition- Survive until the final 4



Neutral
Joe Blake- Each night selects a player, if he picks a Reich member he will be added as a goon. If he chooses a resistance member he will become a vigilante in a PM with the Seer. If seered by Julaina Crain her will join her PM as a vigilante. If he has already joined the Reich he will become a double agent.

Rudolph Wegner and Trade Minister Tagomi- if they can both survive past night 3, The Alpha Werewolf and Godfather will both die. If one dies before night 3, the other will join an evil faction. Rudolph will join the Reich, and Tagomi will join the Pacific states. They share a PM.

Good
The resistance
Juliana Crain (Seer)-is proficient in Aikaido, so will survive the first attempt on her life. If she seers Joe Blake, he will join her in a PM as another Vigilante. If he has already joined the Reich he will become a double agent.
Lemeul Washington (Vigilante)- Gets 1 kill each night
Gary Connell (Vigilante)- Gets 1 kill each night
Karen Veccione (Doctor)- Can heal 1 player each night. Cannot heal the same player 2 nights in a row
The Man in the High Castle - Will be Seered as a villager by evil and cannot be lynched. If any of the members of the resistance receive a film they will be added to a PM with the Man in the high Castle. Each film he receives will tell him the name of 1 evil Player.

Flogs - They share a gun with 3 bullets between them. But they can each only fire it once.

Win condition for Good- eliminate all evil factions

The films-
Players may randomly find films during the game. If the village can get them into the hands of the resistance members then they may be able to receive vital information from the man in the high castle. The films must be passed onto another player at the end of each day phase. It can only be passed to another player within the same faction once before they must be passed out.

Probably once the football is over. Ive got all the roles written down in an excel spread sheet
I'll sign up once I've read it. Maybe. Still in two minds about doing this one.
