The first big call that Shaw has to make is to take the captaincy off Ziebell. His decision making is deplorable, can’t kick a set shot goal to save himself.

Polec pathetically soft. Dumont had to be put onto his opponent because he allowed him to get 20 touches in the first half under no pressure at all. 44% DE, just crap.

Anderson and Atley obviously injured. Why play them?

The umps weren’t fantastic, but they weren’t the ones bombing it to the opposition all night. It’s a cop out to say they caused that loss. We played with an under 10’s mentality, you won’t win games with so many poor decision makers in the side.

McMillan, Cunners, Dumont, Pittard, Tarrant and Thompson are about the only ones who could hold their head high.

Despite the score line, we’ve seen worse performances. I thought our effort was OK, however a combination of a predictable game plan, no plan B and poor skill execution proved the massive difference. Rhyce Shaw has a lot of work ahead of him.

Got told he has been carrying a hip injury & lower back tightness for the last 5 weeks. You could see it tonight, he is struggling to bend over to pick up the footy up.

His game time being managed heavily suggests he is struggling too.

Even still, he was s**t tonight.
