They're still whinging all over Twitter about us getting the No. 1 pick. Don't you just love the hypocrisy :)
These are the same people who wanted the players suspended, knowing full well what it would mean for our season. If any opposition supporter is reading this, you can stick the whinging and bitching up your backside!
They can blame themselves. Their impatience got us stripped of draft picks in 2013 and 2014, so LOL to them

I expect next year's first rounder to be from about pick 8-11, so say 9 and 26 is reasonable with a return of maybe a late second round.

It's a little overs considering his injury, but a high risk, high reward situation.
Gold Coast are not going to get anything much better than that anyways

serious question. Are you all the same person?

It'll never end, well not for 20 years or so. Our next flag will still have people saying it was won by cheats.

They hate us, always have always will. Our penance has been served and then some. Now its time for us to enjoy their sweet tears.

If we nail the draft again this year we are set for some good times.

No. He gave me a a huge shock with the Hurley to Collingwood article, frantically searching multiple sites for about 20-25minutes before I realised it was crap. So this is pay back :p
Hahahaha :D

**** it I'm going over there right now
They have a banter thread where we are supposedly welcome...See how long you can last....I got banned from the threa because apparantly my banter wasn't friendly enough...Weak as water, no wonder they are such a shit stain of a club...Their supporters can't take losing...Even a friendly bit of banter...

I like Brodie purely because he compliments Parish, Merrett in the middle, but also his physicality and body gives him a point of difference.
My concern with McCluggage is that he may be too vanilla. There's a fine line between being silky, and not having a point of difference. Very much like Billings or Toumpas.

So do Myers, Heppell and Hocking. Langford and Laverde are the ones for the future.

We don't have to take a player to compliment a future set up this year especially if he is not the best available.

There will be plenty of big inside mids we can select in the next few years.

Brett Anderson saying on Twitter still not giving a definitive answer as to who he thinks will end up with O'Meara. Reckons it's down to the Saints, North, Hawks, Blues and us. Though for mine I think we can rule at least 2 of those out.
- The Blues have stated publicly they are not interested in trading their first pick (Pick 5), and they don't really have any tradeable players with good enough currency, maybe they offer this year's and next years firsts but seem more interested in Tomlinson/Marchbank.
- The Roos, because well why would you want to play for them? They'll be falling down the ladder not climbing it.
- The Saints are a bit of a wild-card but again they don't really have any tradeable players with good enough currency, and they seem more focused on getting Steele to the club and would also be in the hunt for Marchbank and may go after McKenzie from WCE.
- The Hawks are probably the biggest threat to get him as they'll probably get a late first/early 2nd from Freo in exchange for Hill. But realistically they too need to seriously begin thinking about rebuilding, fell over the line against Collingwood today.
- We're obviously best placed with the first pick in PSD (which for mine is the only way I'd want to get him given how stubborn and idiotic Gold Coast are when anyone tries to trade with them), etc.

All I can see is it'll be an interesting situation to watch, especially if the rumours are true about us meeting with his management about walking him to the PSD and Woosha is certainly interested.

And even later in this draft, if we managed to get another 1st out of GWS without giving up either of Pick 1 or Pick 19, then we could easily get someone like Clarke at #19.
