The rumours of just one years picks have been around for a few years, it isn't a new revelation. The rumours themselves do fit a narrative but that is about all, I'd hate to think they were true because that is worse than the original draft tampering and quite frankly, I have trouble believing that everyone on the board went along with that scenario ( taking an extra years draft pick losses so they could stay on a football board). I also doubt the AFL would have kept silent on the Crows taking a double hit rather than sack the CEO, something like that would have got out, no way in hell that gets kept secret.

In saying that, all parties involved in the draft tampering situation ( Tippett, Chapman, Reid, Trigg, the board) should have been frogmarched out of the club and been banned from stepping foot in the club again.
