In terms of swings against the government, how does the result in Wentworth compare to the Bass (Tasmania) by-election in 1975 which signalled the beginning of the end for the Whitlam Labor government?

17.5% swing away from the ALP versus an approximately 23% swing away from the LNP.

Other voting numbers:

Science Party, Voluntary Euthanasia Party, Animal Justice Party, Sustainable Australia candidates all have more votes than candidates from Katter's Party, David Leyonhjelm, Hinch's Justice Party and Fred Nile's Group doesn't even have one vote.

LOL

The Libs are legit going to run on trickle down economics, bagging welfare recipients and scrapping all climate targets. Again.
The only good welfare recipient is a self funded retiree with franking credits even when they dont actually pay tax

Not sure Malcolm Turnbull chose to have two spills in a week.
Blame the Potato head and Abboot.
It is stating the obvious that the Libs shouldn’t have sunk Turdbull. However, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realise that Turdbull was leading the Libs down the same failed path as Labor when he knifed Abbott.
