Grats pies. Better team all day. Just a fraction hungrier than us imo, you guys just executed those 1%ers by hand and foot better by some margin and that was the difference. Much cleaner when it mattered. Both defences were pretty solid and there was some great contests all round too. Thought the umpiring was pretty good for the most part too - aside from a few iffy inconsistencies

Long and short of it is though, from freos point of view - we will likely be back up there again next year. This doesn’t feel as horribly heartbreaking as 2015. This is like 2010 or 2012 where there was some expectation and hope afterwards

Lost to the better team. No shame in that. Will be very valuable experience for a lot of our young core. Develop that forwardline more, build some bigger bodies, gain some composure and perspective for what is required for rhe ultimate success on the Ultimate stage and we'll be back up there again.

Class act too Pies fans for Mundy. A great way to go out in front of 90,000 cheering fans, a genuinely touching moment. Good luck next week

Can't see Collingwood beating Sydney next week but they've defied the odds all season.

Sydney stadium is like a home ground for Pies though lol.

That said, I think Swans are legit a premiership threat this season and has been for the last 3 months but they beat Pies last game they played but Pies played really bad as and uncharacteristic. If Pies play like their lives depended on it, like a finals situation, it will be a toss up IMO.
