Crows and Bulldogs are always high scoring games and entertaining to watch. We also now got the Thilthorpe Vs Darcy side event. If the weather is good, this will be game of the round.

This one is a tough one to pick. Adelaide have never fallen to the Bulldogs at AO but their Thursday and Friday night record (free to air games) at AO is average at around 50%, but most those losses were to Hawthorn and Essendon.

Doggies in great form and Adelaide grinded out a win against the Pies on the weekend. Rankine is probably going to be back. I think it will be a hard fought 50/50 game here. Hopefully Adelaide start the season 2-0 with a tough trip to Geelong to come in Round 3.

Dogs do not play Adelaide Oval well at all. Our record their is horrendous.

5 wins, 11 losses. I believe all those wins were over Port including a 71 point thrashing in the 2021 preliminary final.

I don't rate Collingwood, so I'm not sure about Adelaide's win. If the dogs of the first 2 weeks turn up, they will win. Their ability to absorb pressure and then bring their own has been the standout so far. The giants took it to them in the first 20 minutes on Saturday, and then the dogs went whack at the end of the first quarter.

If Bont is allowed to do what he did on Saturday, the dogs win by 3 plus goals.

Markets have WB with the thinnest of margins, BF tipsters have it substantially in favour of Adelaide.

Rankine back will be big. But you'd think WB's midfield would still be dominant... right?

Except... I've just checked the records, and the Dogs have lost every one of the five games they've played at AO since 2022.

Tough one.

You don’t rate Collingwood, many don’t rate the giants, if the Adelaide of last week turn up, they’ll win, we’re all parochial about our own team……Rankine comes back in which is worth a few more goals and makes our midfield even stronger…….
