Hazelwood isn’t a 9, probably a 7.5 or 8, he missed a test and had times where he wasn’t nearly as effective. Lab probably a 7, only played the last 3. Wade is a 6.5 at best. 2 hundreds but nothing else.

That 34 of a 105 partnership with Smith coming in at 4/44 last Test was really valuable. Only got out pushing the run rate in the end there.

He did have 3 very unlucky dismissals too in the series, 2 in the 3rd Test, last one on 33, plus one in the first innings of this Test.

When you compare our reactions to stokes knocks to theirs with Smith's it gives you real insight into how delusional their set up is right now, stokes unlike Smith did have insane luck in his two tons and we could have made that the focus but we didn't we just praised stokes, from Jimmy crying about pitches to the backhanded compliments from archer and Bairstow it's clear they are just sore losers.
