Buddy was pretty cooked in 2023. He was like Hipwood and Daniher in that he couldn't bend down and pick up the football anymore.

Buddy could catch the ball when it was kicked in his direction, so would have been a massive upgrade on Hipwood.

I heard the quad call on AFL 360 of the boundary goal by St Kilda and of the 4 calls BT was the only one who was focusing on the fact the ball was potentially out rather than actually calling the play. He was easily the worst of the 4.
