    Need a new thread now that it's official. Welcome Cam McCarthy to Freo.

    Traded today from GWS, plus picks 7, 34 & 72 in return for our pick 3.

    We've had to wait on this trade for a year, but now he's here, the heir to the Freo forward line. Purple's definitely his colour. The Freo site has a few nice videos & articles for you to look at if you have any doubt of the talent of this kid:

    Bloody hell he looks so much like my brother-in-law. Come to think of it he hasn't been around the family much last few years, then suddenly, last year or so, he started turning up to birthdays and the like ... might have to give him a call and see if he's been hiding something for all these years.

    Stoked about this. If he gets back to what is his potential, it will be a fantastic deal for us.
    GWS having that Pick 3 (and likely to get others right up there) is a bit sickening, but what can you do - they have the goods, got to give them something they want? At least we got him out of that soulless club.
