Good luck Cam.

It wasn't so much as Cam being much maligned by Ports' supporters as more the fact that Hinkley was maligned for giving him games. Even in 2020 he was getting a games ahead of some very promising young talent on our list. Selections made even more baffling by the fact that he has now been delisted.

I hope someone from the club checks on Hinkley this morning to make sure he is OK. The post season hits just keep on coming.

2018 - Jake Neade delisted
2019 - Sam Gray delisted
2020 - Cam Sutcliffe delisted

:(

CD saying be hopes to see him as an SANFL listed player is 2021 is interesting.

Would be a fantastic medium sized utility option especially with AFL list sizes being cut.

That is the point isn't it? What happens to the SANFL agreement if the AFL list sizes are reduced. What happens to Cameron Sutcliffe and Tyson Goldsack who we signed at the end of 2019? Is Goldsack still on our books?

Obviously the SANFL agreement is going to have to be renegotiated. You would hope the AFL would participate in any negotiation with the SANFL.

Now I know...

Everyone on our SANFL list are uncontracted heading into 2021. So hopefully Goldsack stays and can make his debut next year.

Maligned but through no fault of his own. Played pretty well most times when called upon

He really didn't.

Had a good game against Essendon last year. That was it.

It's interesting because he'll need a very well paying job at the club to compensate the sanfl restricted $400 when he plays a game. If another sanfl club wants him he'll be gone.
I have a feeling the clubs are asking the SANFL for an additional leadership player in response to smaller lists.

That's right. Port has said they will be asking for a more competitive sanfl salary cap to top up with reduced AFL list sizes.

Nice enough bloke and outside the terrorise Neale game was largely anonymous on the field, but 'Not so bad you remember his game' was a bunch of 'not so bad you remember his game' games that should have gone to young players to both develop them and see which have a potentially higher ceiling. This year especially with no SANFL his selection when we had a healthy list is head scratching.

Like Neade, Mitchell, Sam Gray et al, in theory a reasonable enough 'break glass and select in case of horrendous injury run' option, but as we've seen since Ken arrived, if these players are around, they get selected when they shouldn't and must be taken away from him. Thankfully most now have been.

Apparently he has endorsed Bonner as 2021 Big Footy whipping boy.

Edit: If we are going to allocate a number for this prestigious role what would it be? 46? 29?

Former Port Adelaide players Matty Broadbent, Jimmy Toumpas, Justin Hoskin, Luke Partington, Keenan Ramsey and Luke Reynolds also picked.
