Why has the club resorted to lying and covering up? It's a joke and it reeks of protecting "the boys" by trying to hide their incompetence.

The hamstrings were an issue early last year and they have become an even bigger issue this year and could potentially wreck our season.

It all should have been sorted out last year, I refuse to accept any more excuses this year because things have gotten worse rather than better. If the club had any balls they should be tearing up at least one or two contracts at the end of the year.

We have two failed programs ie the mind training and Kangatech and also a questionable fitness coach which was Burton's selection. I think of a lot of this reeks of a mess that Burton has made and the club has been trying to cover up because he is Roo's mate.

Unless someone can convince me otherwise Burton is a dud and a liability, things were a train wreck under him in Brisbane and the mess has followed him here.

Unfortunately he'll never be held to account and the club will continue to lie and just try and sweep everything under the carpet.

I think Knight has been kidnapped by Power supporters and the club has been held to ransom. We can't call the police or they'll start mailing the club his fingers and toes. Even if he has told them he's leaving, he wants to win a premiership here and we want to win one too. You don't make up injuries to your best midfielders just to avoid an awkward situation at the end of the year.

Judging by comments on the North board the club purchased the cheap version of the package.

Steve Saunders was head hunted by North with essentially an open cheque book. His work with North was exceptional. The comment also on the North board was that the club (AFC) "blew up" the list. Certainly questions were being raised wtf had the been done to Gibson for example. Kangatech and Nordbord are now being used successfully by elite sporting clubs globally.

We are only missing Sloane, B. Crouch, Hartigan and Smith from our best team (and maybe Milera too).

Our forward line is full strength. Our defence has Otten filling in for Hartigan. Our midfield has added Gibbs and CEY since last time despite losing two players. Seedsman has stepped up a gear and Mackay is actually doing alright at half back.

Exactly, and if we have the right frame of mind we should win. I haven't yet seen a Crows side go into a showdown without the will to win. I'll be very put out if we don't win this.

I wish the injury was made up.

I'm saying that if there is any correlation with Sloane's injury and the status of his contract negotiations (which there isn't) then it could be perceived that he hasn't told the club he's going, as much as the perception that he has told the club he's going.

Best coming clean as soon as possible when you have bad news & doing something, rather than spending more energies on deflection.

The issue is the club has made a mess of it and we are seeing players dropping like flies. To take the scrutiny off themselves they are lying. Think about it, individuals working at our club are lying to you to hide the fact they have ****ed up. Surely as a member of the club you can’t be happy by the arse covering?

Then there is the next element to it, Burton’s appointment was seen by many as a job for the boys, his appointment a promotion for one of the boys and Hass’s promotion a consequence of that. These injuries bring into question whether we appointed the right people and makes a mockery of Fagans claim we will have the best football department in the country.

Hence they are all arse covering.
