Gold Coast finding out how difficult is is when the hub you're in doesn't contain the three bottom sides. I do wonder however, who the director of the telecast is going to focus his cameras on now that Rowell has sadly injured his shoulder. His paint by numbers direction is not going to cut the mustard with him not on the field.

Yep, saw a FB post that Rowell was injured, flicked on TV to get an update.

First contest I saw - incredibly obvious HTB not paid.

Umpiring has been woeful since, handing game to Geelong on a platter.

Has it been that bad all along? Umps had been promising on Thu/Fri night....

Cats are 3-2 after let's face it a pretty cruisey draw from a neutral perspective. Played 1 team who finished in the 8 last year and lost that game. Haven't looked that great away from GMHBA either. Still very reliant on the same crew to get the job done each week.

I hate the idea of having to structure the game netball style. I’m coming to the conclusion that we have to force a stretching of the the ground. Something like each team must have two players in each 50m arc at all times. Doesn’t matter which two - you can have four and have two of those leading out of the arc for example. At least this forces some longer ball movement.

Yes. Saw that. Then a little later both Danger and Porkins looked aghast at an umpire's call going against them. Was hilarious, but sadly the tossers still won easily.

This , same old with them .

This season they will probably benefit even more heavily from this cruisey early draw but for the most part look pedestrian .

Expecting a top 6 finish and out first final , miles behind the best group of sides.
If they did play the Saints this week as planned the Saints would beat them imo

Just watching lions port game and even though he doesn't play for us anymore just gives me lots of joy watching Birch running around, happy he persevered and finally overcame his injury woes. Absolute champion!
