I think Morris will make it. He showed real promise last year before getting injured

What can Hustwaite be for us? We have all seen the time and class he has but with our midfield can he play KD once he has bulked up a bit. Having someone of his height and skill could be the way he gets in the team in next year or two.

Morris will make it, it just might not be at the hawks unfortunately. To many players fighting for a spots on the backline.

I like him a lot , if he was able to stay on the park I would just about put Hardwick on the trade table to see what we can entice out of a club.

I reckon we’ll probably see Kozi, Chad and two of the third/fourth years delisted. I reckon by mid year the changes will have mainly firmed up.

The easiest Delist decisions are prob Kosi, Chad, Morrison, Maginness, Bramble and prob Jeka. But I really really wanna give Jeka 10 games in a row this year so sink or swim as a fwd to see if he can make it. He just looks the part. Trade- Frost, Worpel

Can i ask why? I have seen this a ton in the draft thread as well.

We have been absolutely thumped in 3 out of 4 games and almost blew the North game against another poor team. A few teams are in contention for the spoon but i think we are favourites for it and i think the Eagles are the only other team i think to challenge us. North and Gold Coast i am pretty confident win more games.

Liked what I saw with Long. But the others sound right.

It’s an interesting inflection point for our list build. We still need to accumulate talent but we also need an eye on positions. If you do a quick check of the list the 3 areas we seem over represented are inside mids (I count 7), running defenders (I count 6 incl Weddle) and small Forwards (if you add Moore 7). That’s just about half the list in 3 types. At this stage and things can obviously change, I think we should be looking to only add max 5 players unless somehow we get more high end picks. MSD, our first, second (dogs) will McCabe and a rookie which requires opening 4 More Spots). If Kozi is one gone, I see Jeka getting another year, of the categories above I think its
Defender - seamus v bramble
Inside Mid - Maginness v Long (maybe worpel trade)
Small forward - wingard only (Moore Breust butler O’Sullivan Bennetts safe and brockman if he wants to stay clearly safe)
Needs seem to be game breaking mid (only Will Day IMO), kpf and kpd. Oh and not an absolute need but the wizard too…
