Week 1 - Kennedy needs to get his body right otherwise eagles could go bad (fair enough)
Week 2 - Kennedy's knee (again - lazy but ok)
Week 3 - Liam Ryan is awesome (tick)
Week 4 - Nic Nat is back, Kenndy is coming back - things look in 'very nice shape' (tick)
Week 5 - Thinks Adam Simpson is concerned about optus stadium hardness (fair enough)
Week 6 - Thinks Yeo will get beaten by Fyfe (wrong, but fair enough)
Week 7 - Shannon Hurn is awesome (tick)
Week 8 - Nic Nat all class after tribunal (tick)
Week 9 - tips Eagles to beat tigers, says flag dream is alive (tick)
Week 10 - calls Eagles a must watch team, says hes on the bandwagon (tick)
Week 11 - if Dom sheed can't get a spot, Eagles must be a mighty team in 2018 (tick)
Week 12 - says we started our bye at 3/4 time v saints (fair enough)
Week 13 - says he thinks Swans will beat Eagles, only because Darling is out (fair enough)
Week 14 - our Thursday night game was 'our 1 bad game for the season' (fair enough)

Often people in this thread have no idea. Most of Barrett's stuff should have been in the positive / unbiased thread.
I know this reasonable balanced info probably doesnt belong in this thread
Edit: yes he was obsessed with Kennedy (obviously a massive fan boy) - but everything he said was pretty spot on.

Absurd suggestion. Let's ask for Dangerfield or J Selwood as steak knives. You trade to get stronger not weaker.
The Cats can ask but the fits of laughter from the Eagles might continue beyond the end of trade week, making it difficult to negotiate.
Barrett hated on us last year went full 360 and was all bandwagon this year. Not fair to say he got it wrong or that he’s made up beams etc, which has now been confirmed as a possibility. He’s actually very reliable with stories he breaks imo, need to get some credit with all his FA news over the years and let’s not forget he broke the Essendon saga.

I listened to the interview this morning. He definitely implied the 2 Grand Finalists plus Richmond and GWS.
They continually tried to get him to say GC was stuffed but he kept saying it was all going well.
On the GF he was asked what he thought of it. His reply was he thought it was one of the best GFs in living memory.

GWS could have had half their list spontaneously combust 5 minutes before the interview and he still would have said he rated them as a favourite for next season.
Half their list has practically combusted every year for the last three years so you're not really that far off.
