Its even worse then that. We wouldn't be able to trade future 1sts for 2 years after. Looking at high they have been involved the last two years you see how important that flexibility is.

However on the biased media subject, and related to the Simmo/Vic bias talk -
I'd just like say, after watching many re-runs of the finals and Grand Final,
that I am really tired of the Vic bias in the football commentary,
It is so noticeable, particularly when the Vic's come to Optus to commentate.
It is more obvious in the Demons+Pies games in the finals at Optus.
It is flat and disappointed in tone and delivery, the whole game is delivered from a losing deflated point of view,
a Victorian perspective, with little excitement for the Eagles, or any genuine empathy.
You sit there imagining how much more exciting the game would be with a positive spin, a neutral call..
Richo is the worst, wears his heart on his sleeve and in his voice, the disappointment that Eagles are winning..
There are far worse things to gripe about, but it is annoying..
Don't want it biased the other way either, just professional, like dare i say Dennis+Bruce ( Batman+Robin).
