Is that right?Jarrod Berry is a Mid/wing rotate player who tagged Clayton Oliver for half a game.
Sam Taylor took 4 contested marks yesterday.
Weekly reminder that Nick Freecos has taken 0 in his career.
Daicos has played his first game of the season and there's over 200 posts dissecting his performance. When you get running commentary of one player during a game, in their own thread... That's all you need to know.

Taylor also kicked he's 2nd goal in his 112 game career on Sunday. How many centre clearances has Taylor racked up?
Zero.
Because that's not his role.

Bedford gets credit for keeping Daicos to 17 possessions in the first half, and then he couldn't run in the second half.
Maguinness absolutely, and he duly received coaches votes for a 6 possession game. Well done, Finn.
Berry at the Lions? Here is his catalogue of games v. Brisbane:
2022 - 27 possession in his 5th game as a 19yo
2023 - 38 possessions and 2 goals (round 5)
2023 - 29 possessions and a goal in the Grand Final
2024 - 30 possessions and 2 Brownlow votes in round 4
2024 - 25 possessions, 2 goals and 3 Brownlow votes in round 23.
So you've mentioned 3 players, getting 1.5 right, in a 71 game career where he's been tagged in more than half of those games.
Daicos' answer to beating a tag over the last couple of seasons is to run his opposition tagger off their feet, which he has done on many occasions. The interrupted pre season he had means he wasn't able to do that on Sunday, but like the champion he is he tried to play through it.
Had 30 touches in half a praccy no worries #collingwoodhaveinjuriesWell he was struggling with a foot complaint all preseason.
Was he being tagged all preseason?
Well reported his interrupted preparation. And now the nuffy media chasing clicks are suggesting the entire club had a poor preseason.
Because Nick has a plantafacia injury.
But facts don't matter to trolls.

Might be worth a shot coz he sure as shit ain't a forward. When talking about mids, I think we can all agree that contested marks are the best indicator. It's why I hope McRae comes to his senses and moves Mason Cox to first rover.
Ironic hearing a Richmond supporter say that.Might be worth a shot coz he sure as shit ain't a forward.
I used to think that, but when the defence has flooded back he makes us more dangerous when the ball is bombed to a pack and at following inside 50 stoppages. We would have managed more than the pitiful 6 goals from all those bombed entries to packs against GWS if Mason was playing. I hope he's fit and back soon.Might be worth a shot coz he sure as shit ain't a forward.
Only one of the best backmen of all time. Isn't that enough?Ironic hearing a Richmond supporter say that.
Where does that leave Alex Rance?
Who was absolutely embarrassed by Mason in the biggest game they played on each other...Only one of the best backmen of all time. Isn't that enough?
Bloody good player. But thanks for giving us Pies fans the green light to get as hyperbolic about Nick as we want.Only one of the best backmen of all time. Isn't that enough?
SOS, Scarlett, Dench, Southby, Langford, Doull, etc all having a big laugh with that one.Only one of the best backmen of all time. Isn't that enough?
Rance was a great intercepting backman, but nowhere near the top tier when it came to one on one defending.SOS, Scarlett, Dench, Southby, Langford, Doull, etc all having a big laugh with that one.
Woah what is this alternate reality where we agree with each other?!Rance was a great intercepting backman, but nowhere near the top tier when it came to one on one defending.
Don't worry, it won't last long.Woah what is this alternate reality where we agree with each other?!
If you kept the camera and commentary on him for the next 45 minutes, Fox Footy would come calling.Yes I believe he can be the goat
This one

tbh Nick Daicos is a ****ing gun & would love him playing for my team
It was their style of defence though. He was like an in-form Darcy Moore playing off his man to get to everything, except he spoiled a lot of the one's Darcy marks. Gov was and still is when fit the best at doing it.Rance was a great intercepting backman, but nowhere near the top tier when it came to one on one defending.
Sam Taylor coming hard.It was their style of defence though. He was like an in-form Darcy Moore playing off his man to get to everything, except he spoiled a lot of the one's Darcy marks. Gov was and still is when fit the best at doing it.
I get the impression Taylor plays a bit tighter, but never watched him live.Sam Taylor coming hard.
