Poor goalkicking cost us, but how was that not deliberate against LDU, just handballing it over the line because he saw Taranto coming in to pressure? Textbook insufficient intent to keep it in...

100% I was more annoyed at that non call than us missing.

Now I have to watch North players carry on like they won a final.

Toby pink just casually holding Lynch’s arm with both hands for that last inside 50 but apparently not a free
Would have kicked a point anyway

A lot of learning's out of that.
When we had the momentum in the 3rd, Lynch and Campbell missed absolute sodas and that's essentially the difference.
Taranto missed a set shot he would normally snag nine times out of ten.

I liked the way we played overall - just need to be clean when it counts.
We're building and I'm optimistic about the future.

Hard to win when you lose clearances by 20. Disappointing mids there.

All our Defenders had some very average moments.

As already been said missing too many set shots. Feels like an issue we have had for years.

Nank has to be the worst handballer I have ever seen especially in tight.

If I am a kangas supporter- oh dear. You should be at least 2-3 years ahead of us.

Didn’t get to watch the game, only followed the live scores and the game day thread. It seemed like same old same old where we didn’t convert pressure into points, were quite indisciplined, were too slow in attack and defence and let one of their spuds kick multiple goals.

Aside from the wtf first quarter norf seemed to be a level below us. At least it was close.

That was a brutal watch. Both these teams will be down the bottom for awhile yet.
norf drew with the greatest team of all time brisbane last week

the comp is absolute trash atm. we could easily be top 6 in a year or two with how bad the comp is

I just enjoyed the game.
Even the first quarter when we ended up 4 goals (or whatever) down, I was just happy to be watching.
Loved the ridiculous pressure in the second quarter to get the game back even.

I liked the backing in of Banks to be a designated distributor and just build his confidence.
I can't remember thinking at any stage that I wish Short was there instead.

Backline is good enough.
Trainor and Brown good additions. Pity Kaleb didn't get any noticable minutes.

Ralphsmith didn't have a bad game, but I think he's reached his ceiling and not high enough for me.

Seth definitely valuable in the forwardline and I think Mansell is different enough to persist with despite his limitations. Steely I don't know - waiting for Jasper Alger to get a run and that could be his end.

Midfield.... would love us to be in the posistion where Tarranto & Hopper are depth

Agree with most of your post apart from the Taranto normally snag part

our forward line needs a new line coach. theres nothing close to a gameplan or structure there. we have these combative tall forwards all going for the same mark and bringing it to ground where theres no small forwards within 20m. oppo clears the ball easily rinse repeat.
