Great thread.

Lot of people looking at past players through rose coloured glasses.

Lot of others judging the current side on it's potential as opposed to what it's actually achieved.

Midfield match ups are mouthwatering.

Modern day game plan and fitness would see today's side home IMO.

One thing I always find amusing is comments saying teams from the past would have an edge in toughness. Generally, today's players are bigger and fitter. If they were to play by the old rules they would more than hold their own.

Yep you missed it. First team in the history of sport to win a flag, 2 months after the last season ended.
