That's the kind of energy the NBA and media can get behind. His game's looking pretty damn good as well.

Why? I see this a lot, I would favour Grant thoughI think Wood is easily leading the race but Grant makes a good case.
He was killing the g league for years, it’s amazing how some of those guys have to wait ages to get a proper shot at itStrong troll game.
On a serious note Chris Boucher belongs on this list, would currently be one of the top 6th men in the league.
Harden, Durant, Kyrie, Joe Harris and Uncle Jeff all played 40-50 minutes yesterday. Against Cleveland.
Dunno how long the Nets plan to continue doing that.

Harden can play all game

Jon Kontract...Very true, particularly when you think about some of the plebs who've been drafted high or given huge contracts.
Papagiannis and Miles Plumlee come to mind.
Jon Kontract...
CBA? You are right though, no feeder system and poor recruiting. Damn, Chuck Conners was drafted ffs!Was no D/G-League in those days though.
Just mediocre GMs with non-existent scouting networks... who often doubled down on their mistakes. And 10-year rookie contracts.
CBA?
Not sure what the G League has to do with anything here though?Wasn't exactly the G-League.
I mean it was there, and players did get scouted from it occasionally - the Knicks finding Starks and Mason comes to mind - but for a myriad of reasons it wasn't tracked as extensively as the G-League is now.

Ok, that wasn’t me...Boucher's journey to the NBA and scouting.
Ok, that wasn’t me...
Give or take either one is fine with me, I've seen a few more Rockets games than Pistons tbh. Why? I see this a lot, I would favour Grant though
