My exact thoughts. Not necessarily the 3 best (although all would be worthy) but the 3 most revered.

Kernahan as our longest serving skipper has cemented his revered status with his administrative contribution.

Nicholls just casts a larger than life shadow over the club such is his legend.

Doull with his wild man looks and painfully shy manner and cool onfield demeanour is the crowd favourite.

Jezza is up there in legend status but maybe lost some gloss through his defection after 1979 and his second ultimately unsuccessful coaching stint.

Jezza would make the top 3 in terms of best though.

Peter Bell - As good as any Western Australian footballer to play the game.
Matthew Pavlich - Will be in our team of the century in 85 years time.
Jeff Farmer - On his day was one of the most exciting players to have played the game.

Honourable mentions to Shaunie Mac for being the heart and soul of the club through good and (mostly) bad and Clive "Crazyhorse" Waterhouse for being the enigma that is Fremantle.
