Make adjustments - FOS, Scott could have started down there, Sheezal or even Cooper. It wasn't like Melbourne's forward structure was a surprise to us - we have had 2 games against them already this year.

There was just no attempt to structure our backline in line with what the opposition presented to us - we just said f it we have 4 talls and we are playing them on whoever they put down there....and like night follows day we paid the penalty.

Goodwin even went further and put extra smalls down there having 6 forwards under 6 foot knowing Clarko wasn't going to adjust - it was just ridiculous.

When you see this decision making supporters in the stadium have every right to question the competence (and indeed seriousness) of the coaching panel we have.

We looked far more dangerous when Kerch was kicking in and taking the game on.

FFS Daniel’s long kick outs only travel 40m to the 55 and shockedpikachu when the ball is rebounded straight back in while we’re not set to defend.

Just a weak performance all around. Missing Souv and LDU obviously hurt, but the inability to stop scores from turnovers remains a major issue.

Clarko might not be the entire problem, but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s looking more and more like a bang-average coach with some baffling tactical decisions. And to top it all off, we’re now forced to watch CCJ play football — which feels like a punishment worse than death.

Dreadful second half. Relied on individuals all day.

Goal at 3 qtr time for the deliberate call just sucked any life out of it.

Midfield were absolutely belted, Powell had the most nothing 25+ possession game you’ll ever see. Xerri had his colours lowered massively. Parker making mistake after mistake, probably his worst game in our jumped.

Just get the season over with. Not looking forward to the next 2 weeks.

With the possible exception of Brisbane, no team boasts a better top end with Gawn, Petracca, Oliver, Pickett, Lever, Viney and May.

With the exception of Parker, not one midfielder of ours belongs in the same company as Petracca, Viney and Oliver when it comes to grunt.

We got out grunted today - and it was always on the cards after you knew no way Gawn was going to lower his colours to Xerri like he did last time.

Put FOS, McKercher, Sheezel, Wardlaw, Curtis and Hardeman in Melbourne colours tomorrow and you have a contender.

Pretty clear where we're falling down. Our senior players are terrible.
