The idea is for Hartley to come in for Hooker. BZT is nowhere near strong enough to fill that hole.

Goal kicking ability is the first thing I consider in a full back.

Don’t think it matters, he doesn’t defend body on body anyway. Plus he’d be on Blakey or McCartin next week anyway.

Those two would be far too athletic for Hartley.

Hartley is easily our best option as a tall defender to elevate to the seniors to allow Hooker to go forward.

Hartley wouldn't be giving away 10-15kg on his opponents. BZT is a great intercept mark but he's still a twig.

Plus Hartley is the better defender and despite the efforts today is one of the best kicks on our list. BZT has him on intercepts, but we can let Francis and Gleeson fill that role already.

Think he’s getting too much distance on his taps, we’ve played better of Bowman in recent weeks who pretty much nullified the opposition ruck and the ball would often drop at their feet.
