The guys who like fudgeys calulator commentary on here all sing the same tune - Carlton's total dominance over Collingwood in GF don't count because they are ancient history but they keep validating how poor Carlton is by referencing- ancient history..

very self serving to those who can't count and often judging by their posts - can't read very well either.

Consider yourselves lucky Collingwood you didn't have to paly against any of the other prelim teams and got top play against the easy beats...and even then, even then, needed the worst umpiring call of the year to fall over the line...along with gaming the umpires in center bounce - that was as nice Collingwood game the game trick as well...

fancy having the AFL have to change the rules of the game to counter blatant thuggery as well....

yeah Collingwood are real good...LOL - everyone should be totally scared of the poize...cos Fudgey logic says so...

thanks for larfs fellas - see you in the next 'dead rubber'...

Geelong, Brisbane, Richmond and Hawthorn... What do they all have in common in the 21st century that Collingwood don't?
6 Grand Final appearances?

Hang on, no that's only Geelong.

11 top 4 finishes?

Hang on, no that's just Geelong as well.

The biggest membership base?

Richmond accounted for us for a couple of years, but the Pies are back in their rightful position.

The biggest crowds coming through the gate to watch them?

No, noone stands with Collingwood.

Powerhouse.

Nice melt.

How on earth can Carlton supporters expect any recognition of 'Carlton's dominance over Collingwood in Grand Finals', when we've play in 6 (7 if you include the replay), since Carlton have played in one?

I think he meant 3 or more premierships.
That being said Collingwood deserves to be up there after Premierships in 2010 and 2023, and runners up in 2002-03.

And runners up in 2011 and 2018.

The only teams that have given their supporters a better bang for their buck than Collingwood in the 21st century are Geelong and to a lesser degree Hawthorn.

Sydney sneaky one though. Premiers (2005, 2012). Runners Up (2006, 2014, 2016, 2022). Been disappointing in Grannys though.

To a lesser degree Hawthorn... 😂 You have got to be having a laugh right?

Hawks had one of the greatest teams ever assembled during their threepeat and their coach is widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time

The Pies havent gotten close to that level of success.

Collingwood fans live in an alternative reality. A delusional reality. This thread is proof of that.

Put Hawthorn above us then, geeze you seem to get upset over the smallest things.

The point was, Collingwood are still going at the same rate as way, way back, when Carlton were feared, it's just now we have won the odd GF.
Carlton on the other Hand have dropped off the face of the earth.

The term I used was 'bang for buck during the 21st century', which has been going for 23 years.

12 years of which Hawthorn have missed finals.

Flags - Hawthorn 4, Collingwood 2 (Geelong 4, Carlton 0)
Grand Finals - Hawthorn 5, Collingwood 6 (Geelong 6, Carlton 0)
Preliminary Finals - Hawthorn 7, Collingwood 11 (Geelong 13, Carlton 1)
Years in Finals - Hawthorn 11, Collingwood 15 (Geelong 17, Carlton 5)

I had Hawthorn above us, and he's still having a cry.

Try not to use choke, I got told it was a no-no.(Just thought I would warn you, it doesn't worry me?

Yes we did, been doing it since the beginning of time, but it's still fun.

Do you think having no hope is better than losing them?

With a lot of Carlton supporters, it even seems the highlights for you are us losing.

Like I said before, 2022 was more fun than last year.

OK, lets look at the other end of the equation - going to be a long time before anyone comes near this auspicious 21st century record.

Carlton - 5 spoons
Gold Coast - 2 spoons
GWS - 2 spoons
Melbourne - 2 spoons
North - 2 spoons
Richmond - 2 spoons
St Kilda - 2 spoons
West Coast - 2 spoons
Adelaide - 1 spoon
Brisbane - 1 spoon
Essendon - 1 spoon
Freemantle - 1 spoon
Bulldogs - 1 spoon

LOL - apparently anyone who challenges the very logic and arguments put forward by the Fudgey Calculator Club, by just referencing their own 'arguments' - is 'melting'...

same kind of Fudgey Calculator Logioc ( FCL ) that describes Collingwood getting absolutely pantsed as "dead rubber games"

and participation awards for losing - as "Bang for BUCK" - whatever that is supposed to mean...

thanks for the laughs fellas.

Question - was Carlton's round 24 game a 'dead rubber'?
