PORT ADELAIDE will play Essendon without the services of forward Chad Wingard after scans signalled minor damage to his hamstring following the Power’s Round 2 game.

Wingard suffered hamstring spasms against Adelaide on Saturday and was withdrawn from the game in the final quarter.

Inb4 Bombres coaches read this as "resting" Wingard versus them, and use it to motivate the players.

Bad luck. Time for someone to step up. Amon or Palmer would be my preference.

Even the 'P' is out injured.

"We are now approaching our free hit game, Essendon. The 100 point win where nothing can "possa-bly" go wrong. Uh, possibly go wrong. That's the first thing that's ever gone wrong."

I blame Miss Ransom and the Communists

I am sure there is a whiteboard in the Allan Scott Headquarters with a few ticks under the heading

"What could possibly go wrong"

Feel free to add what else might be on there that is yet to be ticked off...........grrr!

  • Lose to the bombers
  • Lose to richmond
  • Lose by 119
  • Dixon ankle
On Dixon, he is going to be by himself unless we play Howard forward or Butcher. I hope Essendon are as bad as everyone thought they would be, because if they aren't - we are in trouble.

If we don't perform, the atmosphere at the ground is going to be toxic and destructive.

I'll get slammed too but if they did elevate Mitchell his hard running wouldn't be a bad influence on this group at the moment... but yea the ball use thingio sigh
