There should be an order from bottom to top (like the draft order) each year on which teams can do a deal with the Suns.

WCE, the Cats and Freo (twice) have all fleeced the Suns (I may have missed one or two clubs). Give everyone a turn before clubs get to come back for more.

Not sure how are relationship is with them after we poached Greenwood. I hope we discussed it with them before hand and it's not damaged. Keeping good relationships with teams can be beneficial.

Does it? JHF is indigenous with strong family values - perhaps he wouldn't stay if Clarkson did?

I would expect that many of our indigenous players (and staff) may not stay if Clarkson does - the club have a responsibility to create a culturally safe environment for all and that would appear to be almost unachievable now regardless of the outcome of the review.

**** me drunk the sky is falling!

Apparently 20 First Nations players were interviewed for the Hawthorn report and 17 of those reported a positive experience, 3 reported a negative experience.

Doesn’t sound like a Clarkson led hotbed of racism to me.

Let’s just wait until a proper investigation is completed before shooting the coach.

10 days until the trade period.
I think we are doing ok as far as trade targets are going.
Logue and Tucker have already asked for trades.
Hunter Clark seeming likely.
Just those 3 would be our best trade period in a number of years.
I think we get those 3 and maybe a couple of dfa's.
Much improvement expected from me.

These are the sort of changes we should be making whether Clarkson is in charge moving forward or not. You could also speculate on Hill too, that story about him and Jy talking was before Clarkson signed on (before the Bombers even came into frame at that).

Everyone of our targets seems to be a good kick.
Maybe not Long so much.
But its nice to have a coach who notices the obvious weaknesses.
We will be right. We are moving in the right direction.

Scotty realised this, when he targeted Higgo, Waite and Dal. They addressed specific needs, but it didn't result in the ultimate prize. It was a great success though.

We should seriously consider trading pick 1 to Essendon.

Pick 4 would still ensure one of Cadman, Sheezel, Tsatas or Wardlaw.

In: 4, f1
Out: 1

This would give us 2 shots at pick 1 next year with perhaps the currency to trade up to it even if we miss.
They would never give us that deal.
They are shit and will be next year also.

They could make the eight next year.
