Why would this even happen?

Lewis in 2 is perfectly fine after Roughy and 2 doesn't suit Ward any more than 19 does.

I had 19 going to Serong, doubt Ward moves from 25 to either 19 or 21. Love to see MacDonald get the 21. Which means Cooper probably gets 29.

I've already said it once but I'll say it again...

Another number switch for Mitch Lewis would be an odd move. It's also a little bit of a slap in the face to Roughy if you consider the reasoning for the change. We're suddenly very keen to create legacies through specific numbers, which I absolutely love. However, potentially changing our number 1 forwards number from 2 to 19 is essentially saying that 19 is far more significant. In recent Hawthorn history you could argue that it isn't.

Pretty solid guessing.

Bit surprised Ward or MacDonald didn't get a new number though.
