I don't know what hurts more, the fact that our season is now done or the fact that the last two weeks the potential for it to continue was taken out of our hands by the umpires.

I'll be in Lakes for a week in September if anyone wants to join me.

Shledrick a real shining light tonight, very pleased to have Parker back, made a big difference particularly in the first half.

Should have been much further ahead first half but a combination of laughable umpiring and an inability to mark the ball inside 50 killed what should have been a 3-4 goal half time lead.

4 marks inside 50 for the game. We average 10.5 for the year.

Buller had far less impact than expected. IMO thought he could come in and suprise (2-3 goals, strong marks).

Had a nothing game.

Has had zero AFL pre seasons

That's one less than a first year draftee!

He was just gassed.

Fwds score from repeat leads

Usually takes them 3- 4 pre seasons to get to the level

He's also up against Andrews who is hard to beat one on one.

Competed hard and showed his athleticism.

Never felt this way before but don't think that I'll renew my membership next year. Always playing undermanned against the umps, it's just not enjoyable to watch. Only way I can vote is with my dollars, and * the AFL.

Look for the length of time Hayward has been at the club and the fact he's in the leadership group youd think sooner or later he'd have a really good game.

Most of his career he's been below mediocre.

Just not great a player at least in the role that's been assigned to him.

He had a chance to give us a sniff and he blew it.

Not tall. Not bulky. Not particularly quick. Not a great tackler. Doesn't impose himself on the games. Goes missing. Good kick and good mark (if his opponent is the same size).

Always saves his rep by kicking 1-2 cheap goals a game.

I just don't get it.
