I reckon Hawthorn could do worse than to throw a later pick at his guy.

Is older than I realised and may not be the answer (certainly going to find it harder to kick goals at Hawthorn than Collingwood) but we desperately need a semi competent 2nd key forward and he takes a reasonable amount of contested marks and a goals + assists contribution of 2 per game is reasonable too. Should be gettable for a mid 3rd rounder given he is about to turn 26 and is in and out of the side.

Well, from a Hawthorn supporter's perspective - that's a shame

Can definitely see the attractiveness of the Collingwood environment (and genuinely pleased for both parties) but still a little surprising given he keeps getting dropped whenever they have their other tall forwards available (some of whom I would argue contribute less).

Probably already signed but last week a good example where he was dropped after kicking 3 goals in his last 2 games.
