I read stories that Green is still batting and fielding with softer rubber/tennis balls because they are wary about cricket balls damaging his finger.

Surely that rules him out? If they're worried a day or two out that cricket balls could re-injure him, surely he can't play?

Reckon all the talk about the pitches gets into the head (" it's going to be a raging turner" etc) of our guys and they're spooked even before they get out there.

Yep, no doubt.

Both have around 70% each of their test wickets taken in India (Jadeja 179 out of 249 and Ashwin 320 out of 457)

Both bloody handy with the bat as well.
