Not the way we wanted 2023 to end but thems the breaks.

Some nice signs tonight, Conway was great and could be A great with some genuine fitness.
Not much else to say, expected result, and was happy seeing us really push the dogs for 3/4s before running out of gas, saw plenty from Smith and Menegola and I liked the different midfield setup.
Bring on 2024, can't have a worse season with injury so expecting a big bounce back.

Six possessions and 1 mark. I really think he has a lot of potential but it’s a long path ahead for him. Any suggestion that he can carry our ruck from this point forward is fanciful at best.

He got a fair bit of the ball, but looked very slow and turned it over regularly.

No doubt. You saw the future tonight with our u21s and they need games and guys need to make way for that. But both of them showed their power running and workrate tonight have been super players for a long time.

Can't see the Dogs doing much damage in September if they get there, since it took them 3 and a half quarters to get over a team with half their best 22 out and had nothing to play for.
