A packed of Chips for the guy whos rated stats wise as the 36th best player on ranking points..... dumb trade, didnt hold our nerve enough and got walked all over by Gold Coast.
The only good thing about this is at least we still have picks for points after we trade for Luko next year.

Whilst we know he's not the 36th best player in the game, not even close in fact, he's still worth more than what we got.

If you think about it going the other way, and we were bringing in an out of contract 50 gamer who turns 28 before next season, we'd all be spewing if we gave anything of value up.
The deal sucks though because he's of far more value to our side. Should have just paid up and kept him. It's not like we're going to be under any cap pressure.

There wasn't anything like that in the Lyons deal a few years ago. This is weak.
Again why did it take so long if this is all we were going to get. What was GC first offer if this is what it ended up at?

Right now, yep. Jarryd at least made sense for that price seeing we had plenty of his type, and he was the bottom of the pecking order. That one was adequate. Greenwood was a rarer player as we lack genuinely tall midfielders, which makes it a shambles.
You hope there is a plan elsewhere to justify it, or you're gambling on our NGA being lights out good. The first one can be forgiven, the second though, that isn't a good gamble.
