It comes down to this. Have the swans peaked yet given they’re a young side or are they improving every game ? And have we already seen the best of Geelong ? so it’s 15 wins in a row vs 9 wins in a row.
the young bulls v the old bulls. On individual accolades, a team of champions in Geelong plays a champion team in the swans.

I think the leg speed, willingness to take the game on across the wide expanses of the MCG and the confidence to run through their opponents will prove too much for the cats. As great a team as the Cats are, and they are great, they simply won’t know what hit them And that will prove the difference in a nail biter.

Gee that was so embarrassing, game was already over by quarter time.

Swans players were all nervous and jittery and almost afraid of the contest. Slow timid ball movement before eventually bombing it long down the line to a contest after the Cats had time to set their zone perfectly played right into their hands. And who was the idiot that decided to play Reid?

Talk about being on the money!

Buddy has always been at his best when there was another key forward.

He doesnt take pack marks so he needs another leading forward to divide the defence. One on one he is one of the best ever. Even 2 on one if leading. But Geelong had a field day yesterday, when Reid could barely move.

McDonald would have been bitterly disappointed until about 3pm yesterday, and now privately relieved.
