Player Watch Jake Soligo - Re-Signed to End of 2029

And we have two with Rachele. 2021 draft could quite literally be the difference in whether this rebuild results in a flag.

The crows really rate Taylor as well so I hope he is able to come on and push his way into the side at some point. He has looked really good at Sanfl level. With the lack of injuries its hard to find positions for everyone who deserves them let alone to develop. And the club wont use the sub as a way to debut.

You forgot the collingwood game where he was best on and then subbed

He was not, in fact, anywhere near best on in the Collingwood game, and was struggling to break our top 10.

Aside from today and Carlton, where he didn't even get the ball, it's been the same all season - he hasn't at all handled the pressure of games, which has resulted in poor decision making and low damage disposals or turnovers for most of his ball use. He just isn't doing enough with it, and like Schoenberg after a good season, the climb on his graph is starting to flatten out too quickly for him to really be more than a supporting act midfielder.

Tempered expectations for people who think this kid ("that we drafted out of the late second round, what a steal!") is going to be a top 20 or even 50 player in the league.

Numbers require context.

He was poor against Carlton, Hawthorn, the Magpies, and the Cats all in a row despite the disposal count, the Saints was his only good game of football in over a month.
The context is Soligo has been more consistently good than poor this year which was your argument so I correctly disagree.

The only game you mentioned he was poor in was the carlton game

He was in fact poor in all of the games I mentioned. Where you earn them and what you do with them matters more than simply counting the number of possessions, and he's been rushed and impact free almost all year.

He's still an AFL player, unlike Schoenberg, people just need to start accepting that his ceiling is a rotation player, a 5th man in the midfield, not a league beater.

And just like clockwork the Wabbit is up and about this week....are you really surprised?
Some posters do tend to post more after losses.

Makes you question why...
