Yeah weird, he got rooted by the umps in game, then thought it best to give him votes.
He is a barometer though, only needs a few touches to spark the team, maybe this is what umps see.

I feel like a little kid, I'm so ridiculously excited to see how he goes this year.

Honestly I'm sick of all the desperation to label the kid and put pressure on him. This is his first full preseason, and it's only his 3rd year. He's got a long way to go. We know the potential is there, but I'm certainly not putting any expectations on him other than he keeps improving. If by year 5 he's not in our best couple players then I'd be disappointed. There's a lot of time left for him. Don't need to expect miracles and brownlows.

It was good to see JHF happy in his own skin and being very positive about his game and preparation. he's properly fit this pre-season and his mental approach seems very good. He should have a terrific year.
