Yeah and that’s fair enough, can’t see us giving up a second round for him. If he didn’t get many games next year I think he would struggle to stay on the list unless he agreed to get payed next to nothing
Pretty sure he and Pittard are on back ended deals. Most of their cash is in the second and third year of their contracts. Salary dump for the Power
Hombsch’ best was bloody good but he looks just about toast unfortunately. Don’t think either of these guys have much value at all, maybe there may be a suitor who still sees some value in Pittard?

Fringe players in their mid-late twenties are really just list cloggers for a team that can’t even make finals.
Our 22 and under cupboard is very bare because we’ve had to give up all our high draft picks for players we can’t develop ourselves. If we don’t get some talented young players in soon it’s going to get very ugly in a year or two.

Port would only accept that if hombsch body was ready to spontaneously combust.
He will be a starting key defender at gcs. Contracted, port told him they want to keep him but they can’t guarantee him first 22 and if he wants to seek first 22 we will be willing to talk.
We need to replace him with depth, to give you an idea we couldn’t replace him with a player half as good with a pick twice as good as 58.
Aim for Gaff and maybe you'll reach a Pittard. Good work, NM.

Funniest part is he was offered a contact by them last year and stayed, he's only going to North because he's forced to. Why their supporters are over the moon for that spud il never know.

At best, he can get back to his form of two years ago. If not, no big loss.
Also have heard Port paying half of his salary for the first two years. And for his first two haircuts.
